My name is Amanda DesJardins, and I am a mom of four girls. I hold a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and Law with a minor in Spanish and a Master’s in Human Resource Management. I have homeschooled my children since they were five, all while working from home as a translator and supporting a translation company.
I am interested in teaching at the new Christian High School because I see it as a wonderful opportunity to shape young minds during one of the most pivotal seasons of their lives. High school is when students begin forming their own views, asking deep things and searching for understanding and making choices that will influence their future. I believe it’s vital for them to be guided by teachers who can help them think critically, stay grounded in faith, and see how God’s truth connects to every part of life.
I would love to teach English, History, or Bible, but my real passion is with History and Bible. I love teaching in ways that are engaging and interactive, where students don’t just memorize facts but understand how the past and God’s Word shape who we are and how we live today.
