Hey! I am David Parrish, and I am blessed to share life and ministry with my wife, Kelsey, and our three boys—Lyric, Pax, and Rio. As a family, we are passionate about serving the Lord through our church, our school, and the relationships God has placed in our lives.
Since 2019, I have served as the Youth Pastor at Community Bible Church in Highlands, where I have the privilege of discipling students and partnering with families in their faith journey. Kelsey and I are also the founders of Sol & Son Dual Language Academy, a Christian bilingual school in Franklin. There, I help oversee administration and teach physical education while our three boys attend as students.
Before entering school leadership, I taught high school English for nine years, including four years at Asheboro High School and five years at Highlands School. I am passionate about helping students think critically, communicate effectively, and discover God’s truth and purpose for their lives through education and experience. I also coached high school boys’ and girls’ soccer for nine years, using athletics to teach character, leadership, and perseverance.
Outside of school and ministry, I enjoy traveling, experiencing different cultures, outdoor adventures, sports, and spending time with my family. I am excited to join Franklin Christian School and look forward to helping students grow academically, spiritually, and personally while developing a lifelong love of learning.
